Cheers Clive, wrong time of year maybe, or was till now? What are you doing, running or cycling?
I restarted cycling to improve my motorcycling and no I pedal considerably more miles than I do under petrol power although not enough of either.

Not yet! I only started running last Christmas, have done a dozen or more half’s and up to 17 miles. Did a pr half yesterday! Am looking forward to it!
The training is a big commitment but makes a world of difference on the day! Just sucked that I trained in all the rain and snow and then there was record breaking temperatures on the day

I’ve got Newport marathon in may so just finished week one of my training plan

It is a big commitment, I am a very determined person though! I am worried about it being hot, that would not be fun! My plan started this week as well. I’m aiming fir 4-4.20 finish time. How acheivable that is I don’t know!

Good luck! All my training last year had me looking like a 5-5.30 finish but with be heat I was over an hour slower! I can’t do heat!
