Never said I did. Was a Sherman tank better built than a Tiger? No.

The Sherman was the successful tank, because it was built in volume and it done what it was supposed to.
Or the Russians just piled them out. Rough and ready the fact a high percentage broke down was immaterial as they still had volume.
War is slightly different set of objective to vehicle manufacturing in peace time.

Just because something is popular doesn't mean it's the best it means it's affordable for it specification and /or marketing.

Likewise comparing a Bentley to a Ford at as you say 10 times it’s price.

Bar Mustangs and Hot hatches 90% of Ford’s, not including Pickups and vans are vehicles bought to work and rack up the miles. Not unusual to have literally millions of Ford built products at 3 years old with 100K miles on them. 150k by 5 years old. What will the Bentley be doing?

As a luxury brand of VW it will do it quieter, and with more class and style, but are they 10 times better?

Doubt it.
