Small claims court is pointless, any recourse to this is pointless IMO, you have the old fashioned school yard justice to beat the money out of him or you torch his car. It's as simple as that. It's £1500 and 11 years out of date.

If you're not going to die in a ditch if you don't get the money (and given you've let it slide for 11 years I think that can safely be assumed), but still don't want the guy to get away with it (wholly understandably) then get the most bad ass firm of debt recovery people you can find and let them have the lot plus expenses if they can get it.

A search on Google gives several leads and as he seems to be keen to get lots of publicity about what a wonderful shearer he is, then I think he will not like the bad publicity even from here.
He was noted as doing a shearing demo at Cholderton on May 2018.
