play classical music to some show hen birds, makes them quieter when showing with background noise.

I once heard tell that King David of Israel, as a boy, sang in the presence of his sheep and despite being a life long townie I have always believed that mooed moosic would help increase milk yield!

We also play classical music to our growing pigs. Seems to keep them calmer.

I remember once reading some books that advised students to also use classical music to help them relax before and during study. The music was to be of a particular timing and tone. Which classical music pieces do you play to your pigs Bee and have you tried differing pieces?
I once visited a riding establishment in North East Wales, where Nigel Kennedy was staying and he was practicing his violin out back of the stables. I don't know what the horses thought of the music but both the wife and I found the moment absolutely magical. But then again I always find the noise of stables at sundown and bedding down of the horse to be very relaxing; almost like medication.
