I've grown up on dairy farms and have worked on dairy farms. Cows have pushed me and I've pushed back. I figure I can do this affordably and on enough land to work out. I'm just curious if people think my fencing idea will be strong enough for cows (no bulls) I'm familiar with woodworking
All wood and screws properly treated and stained for above ground/underground use
Two 8ft 4x4 posts 8ft apart, 3ft under ground, and 5 feet above . Connected with 2x6's. Bottom 2 boards butted together 1"off ground and the remainder of the height with 4" gaps. And 4ft of deer fence on top (total of 9ft above ground)
To keep livestock on property, be good looking, simple to repair/replace, and protect from predators
Do you think cows/deer would break through?
