I almost feel jealous of these pics of sheep in poly tunnels.....almost!

Lambing kicked of properly here today, all nicely outside and mainly left to do what nature intended.....

Smug smile.......mind you it's early days and could go Pete Tong any moment!

I was told yesterday that the number of empty ewes is up this year and yet, out of 42 ewes we have 8 sets of triplets, 23 sets of twins and 11 singles. How are numbers for everyone?

Great to see(y)
Love to lamb out side again but with being on water catchment not possible:mad:. Would be alot bloody cheaper too, but then again if id of lambed out side last year it would of been a disaster with the so called beast from them east:facepalm:, still lost alot the where already turned out.

Good luck with your lambing, due here 25th March this year, month later hope for better weather by then, not bad here now, like a spring day

This group has conspired to begin lambing at near peak number/day this time around! It's almost as though they know it's half term next week ... and will go from 20 to 0.
