Ebay Scam?

Half of the stuff on eBay is a scam these days, I don't bother reporting them any more there's so many.
And if we all did that there would be even more it’s shocking the amount of people who won’t even report as scam when they have been a target of the scammers

List how to report /link may be helpful ?
If in app on phone or tablet just scroll down the page and at the bottom will be a tab to report the item on the normal website there is a report button on the right hand side near the seller information on the listing click listing practices then fraudulent listing activity then suspect listing is fraudulent

How do these scams work? If you pay through e bay, presumably you have some protection? Or do they try and get you to bypass e bay and pay them directly?

There is no protection via eBay/PayPal for vehicles buy the scammers will take you off the eBay platform and then they will make out its through eBay sending a fake eBay/PayPal link with the scammers bank details

See it's gone off there now. Theres a robot 170 on there at Penzance that was in Gloucester a year or two back with the same photos and description so that's probably a scam aswell

It’s ended 12 bidders so mr scammer has 12 chances to rob someone as they will work their way down it can still be reported even though it’s ended

Have you got a method of sorting out the scam from the genuine or is it just experience?
It’s a bit of both researching for previous listings pictures and text being used before and picking up the scammers listing patterns after seeing so many and my interactions I’ve had with the scammers help alot the robot 170 is now removed
