And in that time they will have gone over a 4L and you will get knocked something stupid like 20pk thus wiping out any gain and some keeping them that extra week!
Had some tex Hoggs at Malton today. 49 kg £91, top of market were 61 kg Suffolks to £109. Also had some deadweight yesterday, £4.25

.They need to rise £15-£20 per week now to hit the magic mark by April 19th Forgot to add,Hexham were up a fiver i think on all their 400 or so,if thats any comfort.

A lot of big prices tbh but most commercial cattle certainly no dearer, how could they be. A lot saying unless they were special just a normal Wednesday trade really. I was happy enough on the year.

I had some there a month ago and the better end of mine were £50/£100 short thought the rest were a good trade in the circumstances. Nothing has improved since then. Probably a bit less. Anything poorly fed was a hopeless trade. I have a lot here to go but I don’t think they are good enough to take in the current economic climate. Let’s hope!
