Agree with everything apart from forgetting about it, as that's like having a beautiful wife and never enjoying marital benefits with her.

6410 here was 105hp at the pto when it came new. It will give a 120hp 6800 a run for its money on most jobs except heavy draft work. It has good torque at mid revs too.(y)

Do you still have it ,and has it been much bother , want a tractor to pull 3600 lt sprayer and drill beet ,
We are going to buy two to replace 6610 ,as always handy to leave one on sprayer and other with fat tyres on for rolling and averdex at drilling time .
Found a couple of nice 6610 , and 6410 or a 6420 , these clean low houred older 10/20 series deeres are making strong money , 21 k for a 20 year old 6610 with 6000 hrs ,but very clean and one owner ,6420 with 4000 hrs has a lot of life in it
A new 6130 r 70 k ish spec dependant

Still in regular use with 6000ish hours. Pulls 3000litre Amazone trailed sprayer up and down plenty of banks without issue and has 7wafer weights on virtually all year apart from hedgecutting where it neeeds a full set. Pulled co3 Horsch drill until 3 years ago. Doesn’t do a lot of haulage as kitted out with 600 rear tyres or 11.2 row crops. Was primarily bought for working seedbeds and drilling. Engine never been apart. Drop box chipped a tooth at 80 hours when shakerator caught a sandstone shelf. Never been apart since. Starter motor and alternator been replaced along with diaphragm repair to fuel pump. The 6410 is 2001 and the 1997 6800 have been the best tractors the farm has ever had. The newer 6155R has a few decades to go to prove itself in comparison.

Our old 6610 ap had the vp44 pump on it, never a problem with the injector pump, but the bloody lift pump on top of the filter would need replacing every 1500 hours or so, can't remember the cost but about £200 mark I think.

Just looked one up, they've come down in price quite a bit by the looks.
