Talked with a man who had a 6 spinner here last summer,he’s got rid of it,think he was possibly the 1st in the country to get one.
Have you/ did you look at a merger instead of a rake?
Start a bit before the chopper, suppose to be able to work at faster forward speeds than a rake. 9.5m Kuhn can make a 20m swath if used 2 passes into 1.How do these mergers keep infront of 600hp? Seems slow and narrow. Great idea tho

You ever thought how many pickup times are in those merger rakes? The thought of keeping replacing those would be an instant NO and that's before how heavy those things are. Designed for Alfa Alfa and that's about it.How do these mergers keep infront of 600hp? Seems slow and narrow. Great idea tho
1355 with the drum of a 1360.In your picture what jf is that?

Forage wagons don’t mind rope,it cuts better. There's nothing worse than a rope.
Our local contractors have gone to 4 rotor now for first year .Now they have a Claas they need it to slow everything down!Is it still on demo demo or now a permanant demo?
Time for a kick about then!
How have you got on with it? How old1355 with the drum of a 1360.
Good weather after today Mr F. Give them a call before Wyn attaches his kitI recon we’re about 10 days off starting here. Very variable looking yield. 2 farms are looking fantastic but one farm much slower as older seed but thinking its best to whip it off and be done with it
I would thought it would be like a swath off of a grouper which are smooth to chop. We are looking at them because of stones as we are mostly 2 year leys on mostly light stoney ground. The same chap with the 6 spinner has a merger,he only rates it in dry grass,it just knots it otherwise.
Had it 9-10 years. Likes power and a clean even swath, hence asking about mergers. Some pre-emptive tlc goes along way to reducing down time. How have you got on with it? How old
