Just a quick update. Been on the tablets now 8 weeks exactly. Started at 75mg then to 150mg and started 175mg on Friday past. So far not made any difference at all. Still same sickness and anxiety. Tho the sleep pattern has improved again to being able to sleep all night most nights. Have to increase at some stage to 300mg but notnsure when

If you are getting more sleep its the first step for your body helping itself. (y)
Just follow the guidance on the medication and "listen" to what your body is telling you.

Not feeling brilliant really in my head. No motivation or positive thoughts at all these days. All seems to get ruined very quickly with stuff outside

Have you ever thought about seeing a therapist, Will? It could be that it's more psychological than physical :) only if you want to yourself tho. Hope you start to feel better soon, you're doing great x

The mental health doctor wants to get me feeling better in myself first then go to see therapist as he said if I get in such panic to go see them then it doesn’t work and have to be more settled to start with

That is very true :) good Dr you have there. Just keep repeating to yourself tho that they're there to help you and nobody is judging you whatsoever :)

Doesn’t feel like that these days :/ the shouting that takes place
I meant... People outside of your family :) what about online counseling? So instead of going to see people like Skype them or talk to them online in the comfort of your own home? Could that work? :)
I'm sorry there's so much disruption going on, must be awful :(

Will, the recommended adult dose of that drug is 60mg, you said you are on 175mg?

Can you pinpoint what is the root cause of your anxiety or whatever you describe it as? I don't mean to sound interfering etc but would it not be worth considering some big life changes to get you away from whatever causes it? I don't think anyone wants to be taking these kinds of drugs long term if you can possibly help it. A counsellor is not hugely expensive and would be well worth investigating in your case I think. Once or twice a week initially?

I was under the impression a GP will flag the file of people who need regular or acute doctor contact so you should be seen as a priority I would think.

I think its easy enough for those of us on the outside looking in to tell people what they should or should not be doing, but we need to be careful. Sometimes people suffer from bad anxiety and it is all very well others saying they need a break from such and such, but for the person in question that is not easy in the slightest. I think there are needed to be found ways/methods to make it all easier and that will, alas, take some time but we have to be patient and understanding. until we truly know what its like for that person its difficult for us to make an opinion. I myself can kind of understand where Will is coming from, I suffer with social anxiety myself and sometimes its very difficult for me to even see the animals or do certain things without feeling really anxious or self conscious. One thing I found helpful was having people around me that supported me and were patient with me. The sad thing is not everyone wants to be that, they want results here and now and that's really sad because life doesn't work that way. Remember Will its gradual steps at a time, there will be days where you feel like everything is falling apart, but we are all here for you, we care about you and will give you as much encouragement and moral support as we can :)
