Tractors that never made production

Cheers, it just interested me the article I saw in profi,
It must cost manufacturers money to develop these tractors in the first place, spending huge amounts of money and it doesn't go into productio.
All part of the invention process. Without which we would still be living in caves and chasing after our food with spears....

Nonsense, once you have worked a levelling machine you’ll understand. Forestry sceptics said the very same, when levelling systems were introduced to harvesters and forwarders, once on a levelling machine you’ll never go back... (y)

Maybe I should have said “Good way for me to have a coup” cuz I can tell you as sure as a sure thing I’d have that on its side.

I remember years ago IH ploughing with a prototype crawler next door. I think it even went into production as The TD8 CA and it was featured on the stands at several agricultural shows. Whatever ever happened to that?
Edit: Having done a bit more research: It was introduced in 1979 . At 80 hp it was considered by farmers as rather too small for the market and it was axed. ( Like The Track Marshall Britannia, few were sold compared with the bigger models in the Marshall range)

Don’t do a great deal with the one I have.the powershift was never as popular as the power quad either for what reason I never know.your one will be a 7.6 litre engined one I’d imagine.why are you selling it.too small for all your big equipment?
