I remember years ago IH ploughing with a prototype crawler next door. I think it even went into production as The TD8 CA and it was featured on the stands at several agricultural shows. Whatever ever happened to that?
Edit: Having done a bit more research: It was introduced in 1979 . At 80 hp it was considered by farmers as rather too small for the market and it was axed. ( Like The Track Marshall Britannia, few were sold compared with the bigger models in the Marshall range)

I’m pretty sure the man who designed the selectospeed went on n to design John deeres powershift transmission.i know some knock it but others love it.it was before it’s time and probably misunderstood by operators at the time and I’ve never driven one

Don’t do a great deal with the one I have.the powershift was never as popular as the power quad either for what reason I never know.your one will be a 7.6 litre engined one I’d imagine.why are you selling it.too small for all your big equipment?
