Greenstar units stolen from E Dorset

I had 2 x SF3000 receivers, 1 x SF6000 and 1 x 2630 screen stolen from tractors in my locked yard last night. All taken by someone with a John Deere key as no damage done to the cab doors.

I have the serial numbers for all of these and JD will be able to see the receivers when they are next plugged in, not that it will make any difference to getting them back. All were in use over the weekend which was why they were still on the tractors.

What chance of getting them back?

I’d say slim unfortunately!
I’m sure there’s an update coming soon to render ams kit unusable without a pin code to help stop this sort of thing, not much use to Brisel at this point though.
They do sometimes turn up on eBay, usually in the London area for some reason!

Only works on 6000 domes. I ve just downloaded the update. Don t think there is a USB port on the 3000 domes. Have both but can only find an update for the 6000s

Sorry to hear that. That’s a big hit for one night.

That’s not good, a farm not far from here was cleared out a couple of nights ago. Tools bale wrap and maize chemical.

These days I think we are all waiting our turn

Can I just politely ask if any members consider buying any tech, small tools quads etc, they ask for provenance please. As someone once said to me, years ago. 'If there were no receivers there's be no thievers'
Lets spread the word and make stolen property worthless please.
I hope you get them back Brisel

Must of been a delivery driver who spotted it all as if you wanted to find the place you’d struggle, local knowledge anyway.

There are people in & out of the yard regularly. A local amateur photographer posting pictures of the tractors working in the fields on Twitter probably extends the exposure. CCTV going in shortly, not that it would have made much difference.

There is a USB port on SF6000 receivers. Unclip it from the bracket and it's under a rubber flap on the bottom side of the unit. You need to leave it plugged into the tractor harness to update it.

Newbury and surrounding areas was a hotbed for this a few years ago but they are taken off every night now. What will happen when the 6000 is plugged in and it can be found then?
