Yes but without the offer it works out at £349 for equipment and £150 for sub.

can't see any prices on their website ? just "request a quote" ? would be a rather odd thing to do to run a offer that was more than regular price !!

I will check with them tomorrow

Very helpful on phone, they checked my signal for my postcode and informed me would be 10 days delivery. Was £349, plus £150 annual. Also £30 for tripod and £40 delivery.
Still think it is good value compared to competitors. Will post again when up and running![/QUOTE]

Hi there!

I'd be really happy to answer your questions about Sencrop if you have any -- I'm no technical expert but I am a member of the team (full disclosure!). :)

The pricing on the sencrop.uk website includes the price of one station plus the subscription fee. The tripod fee and delivery costs are not currently listed on the website but will soon be added.

There is a discount on the subscription fees when you purchase a Sencrop +. Instead of paying 2x 150£ per year (because it is two stations -- one Windcrop and one Raincrop), the price is 180£ per year.

Not a SIM card - they use Low-Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) which keep the data costs far lower than they would be if they had 4g SIM like most other remote stations

It also means the batteries last a long longer (claimed 3 years !)
What does it need at the remote site? Wifi? Or just batteries?
Do you have to empty the rain from it?

It works with double-tipping buckets, so no need to empty the rain.
It works on a Sigfox network (https://www.sigfox.com/en) so no need for a sim card. Everything you need (batteries, etc.) are already in the station when you receive it. Battery life should be good through 3-4 years. After, it's a pretty standard battery so replacement costs around £20.

nothing - you just get it out the box, erect the tripod and switch it on

that's it - really was very simple

my big concern is getting them stolen but there is a tracker inside apparently as well

I juts got x2 Sencrops - I am going to do a full review but they are brilliant and Im very impressed with them

not expensive (about £350) and no SIM card charges, very high quality professional build, excellent app and desktop etc with collaborative features and alerts etc

Very easy to set up - remove from box, site and switch on, battery lasts 3 years (claimed)

I have got them do do a TFF members deal as well (i want more of them !) will post details tomorrow

My 2nd wind sensor just tuned up today so will be getting it set up later

Really is a brilliant bit kit and great app .................. very addictive to keep checking it though !
Hi Clive, how you had enough rain yet to test how accurate the rain gauge is, only reason I ask is my Netatmo seems to have lost its way again in this dry spell, we had 11mm yesterday, normal gauge next to it said that, but my Netatmo said 8, it’s done this before, spiders make webs inside and slow the tipping mechanism I think. Looking for an upgrade and like the look of this.

Really pleased with it.
Great App, easy to set up. Just waiting for same rain to see how it works, but I was very impressed so added the wind guage(extra cost!), which arrived this morning.
Very helpful on the phone and quick to reply with quote.
