Its been raining here for two hours solid and forcast to continue until 7am tomorrow to be replaced with sunshine and heavy downpours. Bloody wetting it now in some order.

Its difficult to believe it was dust 7 days ago . Brooks running like torrents and only saving grace is ,the grounds trying to suck it up like a sponge !
Trying to pee down here now , although I hope we are on the edge of the worst

They have given another week of rain where I am. I know one thing, I can see many reservoirs being topped off and spilling by the end of the month from all the run off from the hills, which is rare for this time of year

overnight since midnight we have had about 15mm which has fallen on already saturated leaves but oh so fortunately without strong wind which remarkably means crops still standing even if swaying a bit ,most of our "rain" this last couple of days has been in heavy mizzle form . We seem to have missed the worst but had enough as we are almost at the tipping point esp with barley, grass for hay is a mess.

Yikes, the weather is changing.

Rain now coming from the south west, makes a change from the north east.
108 mm for June, so far
358 mm for the year since jan, and I’m in the dry east:meh:
