Hls and els

Had a visit to day from natural England to check we are keeping our hls parcels in the correct condition. Everything was fine and was happy to roll the agreement on. I did want to enter mid tier for capital works and to enter our hls into a element of mid tier to help protect the habitat. Anyone had similar and thoughts. The biggest issue is the hls and els don’t end until feb 2020 so I can’t apply for mid tier until 1st January 2021.
Thanks

Finish HLS end of this month. The main success story here has been 6 metre margins against watercourses, they are definatley better habitats now and I wanted to keep them. However I am one of the great unpaid, money still owing from 2017, so have no real faith in the RPA our whoever is running the scheme this week.

So I have just completed a mid tier application, minimising the in field and options and maximising the capital payments, if its accepted it will be good, but if not i won't lose any sleep over it.

Have you had it in writing that the Inspector was happy...

Don't believe them until you have a written confirmation...

Yes and he spent 2 hours looking at wild flower species on his hands and knees and telling dad what all their latins names where.

To be fair he was a nice chap and down to earth shame they weren’t all like him.
