As above really,

Wondering whether it's accurate enough to be able to do this, thinking about sreading Fibrephos/Kalphos though our standard verticle beater muckspreader.

Would rear doors (pictured below) be appropriate?

I've Spread a lot of gypsum through A rear beater spreader just set the slurry door at what hight you want slow the bed down and drive pretty quick can't see what the rear doors would do unless you didn't have a slurry door

Will be doable, but pretty slow. Also the floor chains and sprockets will be under heavy load. Slow floor speed and small loads is the safest way.

Crack on.

I have a feeling if it was a good way to do it then somebody far cleverer than me would have noticed by now and stopped bumbling eejits like me spending masses of money on our spreaders.
Contractor who spreads most of the lime in my area tried spreading with a Rolland rear discharge muckspreader, they now spread most of it with 2 Bredals that are fitted with booms. There's no way they would've spent that much if the muckspreader did a good job.

We used to spread the old lime sludge through a verticle beater spreader, but you really need a bredal type machine to get the best from the modern dried product.

I suppose a HBD type machine would be OK, but that's a heck of a lot of machine for a relatively lightweight product.
