Looking for Permissions in Midlands & Wales.

Hi everyone,

Thank you for taking the time to look at my post.

I have been searching for permissions for Metal Detecting & came across your forum... I am hoping it may produce some good results :D

I live in Wolverhampton, West Midlands and would be happy to travel around the midlands and Wales for permissions, however it would be great if any local farmers want to get in touch with me!

I currently only go on arranged digs with a local club I have joined, West Midlands Metal Detecting Club (WMMDC). I am looking for permissions for just myself, I'm hoping this will allow me to make contacts within the farming community, build a trustworthy and reliable reputation for myself. As we all know our reputation precedes us!

Please see the attached search agreement, some of you may be familiar with it, some may not. Just to clarify, It’s regarding the agreement between the land owner and myself. eg: how long you wish to let me on your land, time, months, years. How the finds are split between myself and the landowner, which is normally set at 50/50 split on all finds. Also included in the attachment is the NCMD code of conduct that I follow when on any land, as a NCMD member this also covers myself up to £10,000,000,I would hope this would never need to be used but is good reassurance.

I am happy to do what best suits the farmer/land owners so don’t worry when getting in touch. I am happy to chat on the phone, message over facebook or meet in person if preferred.

Once again thanks for you time.

Regards,

Daniel
