Going to wait until the flea beetles have been before I plant this years. Prob mid September but cant be spraying them numerous times.
I tried that last year but it was so slow growing and still had flea beetle. Ripped it up by mid October
There isn’t going to be a shortage of moisture though this year! [emoji849]
You say that now, but we could be stuck in the opposite weather pattern for weeks and be needing rain in September

Haven't started, some fields cleared ready at least but far to wet. Will be sorting out the new to me SR Claydon I bought for osr and beans. Brisel do you use the duet coulters, I was going to use them with the 5.5" inch A shares?
Or that wet we can't get it in.You say that now, but we could be stuck in the opposite weather pattern for weeks and be needing rain in September
Which do you mean by the duetts? The twin outlet splitter? If so, yes I use the splitter and A share for osr. Some use the single outlet spout and a much narrower point but I prefer the idea of putting seed on the shoulders of the trench cut by the leading tine, not risking it falling down the hole. I run my A shares just above the ground - the batter boards/ harrows will pull soil over the top for you. I ahve a Hybrid which is different to yours but the basic principle is the same. Best to ask @charlie@claydon what he would use.
