12 t Master dryer from near Mixbury to near St Columb Major, Cornwall. 250 miles exact. Access ok both ends, both near A roads.

Height 15'6" but will remove auger to lose say a foot, and could take wheels off for another few inches.

Any quotes, thoughts or advice welcome, many thanks.

Thanks @Tim G yes I was thinking to take off the auger and wheels. Not that familiar with haulage terminology - I take it a "wafer deck" is the very low one - 300mm or so? That was what I was thinking would be needed, although a 450mm one might just do it with the auger/wheels off?

How common are the wafer decks? Do any of the hauliers on here run them? I've emailed for a couple quotes but does anyone have a rough guide of what a job like this should cost?

Yes I've spoken to Garry at Master, in fact he put me in touch with the seller initially, he suggested a couple firms to try but I thought I'd see on here as well.

Cheers

Good job the old A30 is bypassed now. Mobile dryers didn't fit under the iron bridge very well ........ as Cornwall Farmers found to their cost once! :D

I can tell you that Mecmar bring them with the screens and plenum laid down and re-assemble them on site using a crane unload trailer.
If memory serves, Alleleys Transport.
