Refuse Naproxen, it is for wimps, proper Steroids Prednisolone is the route. Your head is making you sick in an auto-immune fashion.
How you getting on with steroids for PMR? I have just been diagnosed with PMR this week after summer of aches and pains and started on same steroids.
How long before symptoms improved.

Almost an immediate cure, but they can have some scary contra-indications! PMR is better than the Fibro- sister or the Lupus cousin. I am weaning off steroids now by one milligram per week.

Good to hear.
I am hoping it is not Fibro.
I started steroids on Tuesday gone and much better however have a painful shoulder and bicep which are not improving. I think I may go to physio as suspect I may have specific problem in this area in need of a massage and PMR been masking it.

Be advised that PMR is an auto-immune symptom that flagged up my bladder cancer condition before any blood in urine was seen. Your body is a clever mechanism, be aware.
