whilst I've always fancied one for drilling rape and beans it seems an awful lot of money vs an old Vaderstaad or PH combi

You could buy an older one cheaper, but you couldn’t buy a 2012 vaderstaad or combi cheaper!

True enough - I'm a cheap old drill buyer though- just end up with lots of repairs !

Is this still for sale? What size tractor does it need to pull/lift this?

It is still for sale. I originally had it on a Fendt 820 no problem pulling but did need a good front weight, then up graded to 930 that was more than enough power and weight, ideally about 220 to 250 hp.
