If Boris does get a deal....

I think if the DUP go with this ... it could be a goer

The government has indicated it could support harmonised rules for the agriculture and food sector to prevent the need for any sanitary and other health checks on the border between Northern Ireland and the Republic.

I believe there are some on both sides who would do anything to have their way.

I get the impression that there are some who would let Boris, Nigel, Jeremy or whoever have a go on their Mrs and as long at they delivered what they wanted.

That is the one part of the Brexit situation that really is quite funny. The 2 sides are mirror images of each other!!
That is why I try to avoid criticising anyone's actions as both sides are pretty equal.

True but then there would be the suggestion that Scottish Unionists and other unionists on the mainland are wary of any differing treatment for parts of the UK which will be seized upon by separatists.
Then there is the argument that NI only backstop is contrary to the Act of Union as well undermining the Belfast Agreement.

Kicking 21 MPs out of his own party makes the DUP irrelevant doesn't it?

I've long thought the same in re' Labour and the SNP, well, about the SNP as a whole and about the Labour leadership. I think that if Boris can get a reasonable deal, a sufficient number of Labour MPs will vote for it to see it through - and at the same time to undermine JC.
I hope you’re right. I also believe that even if Boris comes with a deal that overcomes the issues that Parliament voted against 3 times, Labour would still vote against it! Today apparently they have said that they would fight an election neither supporting or opposing Brexit!! That tells me everything I need to know about Corbyn and Co’ at the TUC conference today he used the word “movement”. This reminds me of the Labour part of old comrade!!!

Let's not be fooled into thinking that any of them give a toss. Most of it is an act, they all just want money for themselves and will say anything and pretend to want whatever it takes to get it.

Just look at how much Boris smirks when he speaks, he doesn't give a sh1t about Brexit or how good a job he does of it, nobody can surely be surprised at how things have gone for him so far, especially him.
If he does not give a sh!t why does he not stay in No 10 all day and drink Gin . Hes does not have to travel the length of the country drumming up support does he

It would be "unacceptable" for the British government to sign up to an NI-only backstop as part of a Brexit deal, the DUP has said.
True but then there would be the suggestion that Scottish Unionists and other unionists on the mainland are wary of any differing treatment for parts of the UK which will be seized upon by separatists.

The problem for Boris is that no way will Nigel stand for that.

I said, let's not be fooled, but you seem happy to be.
So you think the most focussed upon man in the UK could just stay in all day? That wouldn't be much of an act would it?

He, like the rest of them say anything that bluffs the average Joe, like his bullsh1t "dead in a ditch" line, what a joke.
He's just another bluffing politician.

67 % - 33% in 1975. So 1/3 never wanted to join in the first place. After 45 shitty years, that's grown to over 50%. IMO, a few more concessions over the years, and a couple of thousand less silly rules, and we would have never been in this situation.

I can't see us getting a satisfactory deal. The EU's job is to give us a good spanking.
We were right to join in 75 and we were right to vote leave in the referendum. It's a completely different organisation now compared to the one we joined. The goalposts are on the halfway line now and we've just been dragged along with no real say on it. Cameron gave us a say and said the people spoke.

Do you think he wants to be remembered as the shortest serving PM in uk history or as the PM who got us out of the EU in the most successful way possible. I think he wants to “make Britain Great again” unless I’m just taken in by the bull sh!t!!

A view from the EU side
If you don't want to watch the whole thing, fast forward to 1:53:00, the 23rd March 2018.
"The most problematic group in the House of Commons are the remainers."
"Please remainers, come up with a compromise."
Nearly 6 months has passed since the EU made these comments and those wanting to remain haven't compromised, they've strengthened their stance on stopping Brexit. The two sides are further apart than ever so even if Boris does manage to get a deal it'll never get through parliament.

He'll be the shortest serving PM if he has to ask for an extension, as he'll have to find a ditch and an appropriate weapon.

He wants money, just like the rest of them.
