Lib Dem. It is a stark choice between Tory and SNP in our patch. Having voted Tory for some time, I would rather sh5t out my own intestines than vote for them in this one. And I'm far from convinced by the case for Scottish independence. So it's a rather petulant protest vote from me.
Is Hans Porksens daughter standing again in your patch?

It's a very good question !

I liked Peter Hitchen's comment on Any Questions last weekend

There should be a mandatory "None of the above" and then if a majority in a constituency vote none of the above, those candidates are de-barred and a new election ballot is called

That should at least get rid of some of the donkeys with blue or red rosettes

It won't resolve either of the main parties and their Brexit positions however

How can we possibly know until they all publish manifestos and see where each party stands on the important things like health, education, defence, business... oh wait, silly me, this will only be a one issue election, a proxy 2nd referendum, yet the winners will use the result as a mandate to push though their full agenda for the next 4 years... :banghead::banghead::banghead: It will be a strange and clouded contest, some candidates will be running on polar opposite interpretations of their party manifestos depending on which region they are trying to get elected in... But then there are labour governments and there are labour governments... above and beyond any other political issue, under no circumstances should Corbyn and McDonnald get a whiff of power, I shall therefore most likely be voting against that rather than voting positively for someone!

I can't bring myself to ever vote for the conservatives again. I don't agree with a No-deal Brexit, but really I think they have shown themselves to be incredibly disorganised. I wouldn't rely on them to organise a pee up in a brewery; let alone run a country. the whole party is a sh!t show. I voted lib Dem in the poll but really have never felt so disenfranchised with any of the parties.

I’ve voted Conservative all my life. However, I cannot vote for them while they are led by a populist buffoon that thinks it OK to ignore the parliamentary democracy that is a cornerstone of our constitution.?

Neither could I ever bring myself to vote for Corbyn and his idealistic loons.

I would have voted Lib Dem (who are always contenders here), until they voted to halt Brexit without even going back to the public, showing themselves to have as much contempt for democracy as BoJo.

Monster Raving Loony it is then.

The Lib Dems know that Jo Swinson won't be in number 10 to execute that promise but they have played a clever game making them the clear choice for remainers and in doing so more likely to bring about Ref 2. Labour are a shambles.
