A neighbour was burgled in daylight. Someone heard the alarm and spotted the culprits leaving with stolen goods. Got a car reg no as they left. Reported straight away and by chance the police caught them straight away. Two ran and another two caught. Stolen goods in the car. All the usual false plates, no mot, tax, insurance.
Police are not charging them due to lack of evidence!:scratchhead:
We are rapidly becoming a third world country with our pathetic justice system.
The innocent suffer every time?

PC Harpers funeral today, just been reading about it on the BBC website. I got married 4 weeks ago, I honestly can't imagine what his widow is going through as well as the rest of his family. I'm normally a pretty calm person, not a lot makes me angry but the scum that did this deserve far worse than a jail sentence, boils my blood!
RIP Andrew....

Well said & i think every single one of us on here would agree with you 110%

Not theft but on my cycle home from work one night I was knocked unconscious by a white van turning through an intersection and just left in the middle of the road. Customers in the pub on the corner heard the bang and came out to see it driving away. Luckily the front numberplate had come off and it was traced to a traveller camp.

Police attended, were mobbed when they tried to interview the registered keeper and had to leave sharpish.

They visited me in hospital and apologised.

Upshot - not even prosecuted for failing to stop even though Keeper admitted driving.

I had more lights on the bike than a christmas tree :(
This is discriminatory against ‘us’ law abiding citizens. If I’d knocked someone off a bike I bet they’d be chomping at the bit to come and arrest me. As soon at it’s anything to do with the ‘untouchables’ they don’t want to know. It’s an absolute embarrassment and those barstewards know they’ll get away with it; it feeds their animal mentality as there is never any comeuppance. Make sure you pursue it any way you can and let the public know all about it
