Cleaned out the cattle yards today. Last load of muck there was a big bang from the loader headstock. Thought the z link had cracked but the end of crowd ram had come unscrewed and ripped the last threads out. 
Thread is wedged in at the moment. John Deere 3200. Worth checking if you have the same machine as it could have been a more personal accident. Parts not available apparently so it will either need re ending or find another ram.

Now run a file over the cut cable ties , do they do not cut your hands to shreds , always give them a rub as leaves them sharp
