Looks like the stud may be broken as well as the stud.
@nowtofajob Has the flange broken off the locking wheel nut ? - if you undid the remaining 4 nuts would the wheel come off ?

Thanks ive got a rim with decent tyre on for £50 coming off ebay. Im going to try to holesaw the old rim off.Once more, nearside wheel nuts will come loose in use if not tightened up! Slacken off the other 4, add WD40 and drive it, the cyclical rolling action should break the joint enough to persuade off with a chisel.
Or better still remove and throw awayLocking wheel nuts are the work of the devil, pointless today as they just nick the car. Always remember to tighten last and loosen first.
