Mine broke in the wind,found where you only pull the strap tight through the sleeve instead of the whole webbing there was a hell of a lot of movement when windy,few storms later the strap had ripped out of sleeve completely,perhaps shed erectors never put them up correctly and there’s another way but I just don’t like the idea of having to cut webbing to pull the strap out,weak point straight away in my mind :/

Were they Secure Covers? By their design & the way they are woven (silage clamp covers too) they should not rip.

Run this morning to look at a few trees to drop , customer told me they can be cut and dropped,,nothing in the way,,,well unless he couldnt see the nieghbors house and the phone cable running through the grounds .

Maybe the straps should of been on the shed side so wind blew sheet against strap rather than away from it. Like putting a fence up with posts on opposite side to the stock so any pushing is wire against post not on staples

BT have always been very good about dropping wires when ŵe have wanted to do something like this. They don’t charge but always say they will charge if we don’t tell them and break the wires.
Got some more hoggs in and sorted for next week.

After Being with me all day on the farm,me and my apprentice had to pop to my mates who’s away on holiday. His Mrs wanted me to check over a calf that had been born. Took the opportunity to check out the lambs as well he was well chuffed he got to hold one.
