Big announcement tonight!

Why at midnight ? Could have done it at tea time so we all have this evening to take it in rather than when rushing about in the morning.
The midnight hr is pivotal in many fairy storys/legends/songs,in cinderella the beautifull young woman is living in unfortunate circumstances that are then turned magically too tremendous fortune?(y),................................on the other hand,Iron Maidens "two minutes to MIDNIGHT" has a much more sinister warning:eek:...........................................................nae point worrying about it any anyway:rolleyes:

DEFRA is being disbanded - from midnight it will revert to being called the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food.

Farmers are urged to plough up all margins and beetle banks ASAP and get on with producing as much food as possible in order to feed the country and reduce the balance of payments.

All Defra personnel have been sacked and will be set to work in potato picking/cabbage cutting gangs in order to reduce machinery costs.

With his new majority, Boris will force new laws through parliament making veganism illegal and adding 75p/kg/lw to cattle prices 'at a stroke'.

'Saint' Teresa will announce, "Farmers, friends, countrymen, your time has come once more. Your country finally recognises your true worth. Accept our humblest apologies and lift up your arms and feed us all. Global warming is NOT your fault, after all"
