Had to smile at a letter in the Times yesterday, the writer said something along the lines of they would be holding a minute's silence, never mind whether the bells are rung or not.

Bojo flippanty saying 'toss a bob for the blls' and the sound of the bells drowning out the minutes silence is possibly a parody of the whole Johnson affair. Hey ho.

I think it's down to the fact they were preplanned 2-3 years beforehand not 2 or 3 weeks. :scratchhead:
