Which depot was that from? My Certas rep (who'll not live too far from you) claims there's no such thing as En590 red!
Perhaps your rep needs to learn his trade a bit better. All diesel sold in the EU (Britain included) must meet en590 specification. Red dye simply shows that it is not duty rated!

Cheers, my last out of Wooler too, but from Grangemouth with the reduced Fame. Be interested if any mention of En590 on ticket/invoice - mine just says a2 gas oil.

just says GAS OIL on del note. Rep assured me its the white (EN590) with the Dye in but he could possibly sell sand to the Egyptians so god knows

If it is then your far far better off id say.
None of the Diesel carryon up north was caused by EN590 AFAIK only the True Red Diesel BS 2869
