Actually that is just what I've been posting here and other places for a couple of years now, perhaps I have a fan, or maybe not, the rest of the article is paywalled.

clarkson has better come and see the many farmers on all soil types who make direct drilling work, less time for abject misery of sitting on a tractor for weeks on end and more time to spend the extra profit having fun!
We can be zero carbon and still farm and produce the same if not more food. So many, clarkson included are looking at this with such little imagination. We are slaves to a chemical and fertiliser industry on a treadmill of consistently failing science and chemical based answers.

jezza needs to get out more if he’s going to be a voice for farming!

When the climate debate has been so debased that the undeniably lovely Duchess of Cambridge is hailed as a climate hero for wearing the same, very expensive, dress twice.... I think we can safely say Clarkson is right that rational thought is lost.

Every 'solution' i've seen requires the poorer end of society to forego pleasures such as cheap foreign holidays, pay much, much more for their food and energy and increase their general level of tax.

The sight of wealthy celebs and Prince Charles flying around the world in private jets, demanding that these privations be inflicted on everyone, safe in the knowledge that they themselves will never be materially affected by their demands, is just repulsive.

Societies prosperity relies on cheap, reliable energy and unless government is prepared to ensure that with nuclear, the rest is just virtue signalling.

Is it not slightly ironic that 2 of the biggest pro farming activists are clarkson and piers Morgan.

Yes and thank goodness they are. Love them or loathe them the mere fact they are raising these issues may get more journalists and people with media presence to start questioning what they are being told by Govt and BBC rather than reporting it as fact.

Love his line about the badgers:)

Not entirely sure what the question was, but if the answer is Jeremy Clarkson and nuclear power, then i'm out.
