My crossbreds £2.45 avg and non FA mules £2.25.

Would have stood another pound without moaning but I will have to settle for that... ??

No one is ranting so stop making rubbish like that up trying to make yourself look clever!

No industry talks its prices down like some in the farming industry do!

Other industry's work out their cop and then price their product price to cover this and leave a sensible profit margin unlike farming where a few seem to be on a race to the bottom!

If subs go ( which they will ) lamb prices will have to be £5 a kilo min, your fooling yourself if you think otherwise!
Guth you are on a Rant...every product has its price if lamb gets to dear they will just use something else...its a fact of life...calm down old boy calm down...what I or your good self say on here wont make a bit of difference to what happens

I see both sides but I have to say I agree with guth. We can't can't keep going back wards in price on farms. I think some said earlier on here if lamb goes to dear they will swap well its seems simple to me put the price on everything up be level playing field then. At end of the day people got to eat and they got to realise that it cost a lot of money keep theses stock and I think a lot don't know that.
Can you tell me just how you intend to "put the price of everything up"?
And even if you could, how would you then stop people over producing and flooding the market because of favourable prices?

81 mile from yard to auction. 3 deck six wheeler rolled in at 8.30 as I was going too the ring! Market was definitely full, not as full as the week before EID in September but still a good show of Hoggs!

So anyone that doesn't agree with you or PBH is on a rant?

Utter BS!

The point of a forum is too discuss issues and that doesn't mean to claim everyone that doesn't agree with you are on a rant!

Lamb at £5 kilo deadweight is NOT too expensive for the consumer!

The days of cheap food are coming to an end!

bit worrying short term is slowdown in general sales of all goods to china due to virus and various quarantine regs , can quite see mr tesco getting a few extra boat loads out of NZ just to temper uk easter price ,Processors are already renting extra cold storage to hold supplies up but cant be long before they start unloading on other markets .

Or as far as beef is concerned they may just be about to start
No good going on about where the price should be, you tell us how you or anyone else outside of government is going to put it there ?
The government can put the price up and they can also put it down, they could put it so low that even the smug barstewards on here that think they can farm beef for four fifths of feck all would be out of a job
