Guess they are an electronic version of Weylode, ie, a pressure sensor in tipper pipe circuit that gives a direct instant readout?

Yeah they fit in before the trailer pipe and as you say just a pressure sensor and a display in cab . You just tio the trailer to the same but every time I made up markers on the front if the trailers to line up and they're very good if you send a pile of grain away they're very close to over a weigh bridge weights I'm not going to quote how close because I don't deal with that side of the job but my boss is more than happy with it .
It was a choice of put in a weigh bridge of some kind or fit weighers on the trailer's and they're good enough and a lot cheaper

Same here, trailer has to be level filled front to back and does seem accurate when I have check weighed. Rds 200 will so up to five different trailers as well

Bet it will be within 5-8% if you load trailers consistently. Old Weylode is at least that good.
What does RDS cost?

It's closer than that I'm not 100% convinced on part loads but the final tally usually is close for what goes away so can't be that far off

I'm sure they were around 1k each a couple of years ago at the highland show

Had a Griffith Elder system built into a new trailer here. 6 weigh cells. It’s a Smyth trailer.

Use it for beet & maize trial work where accuracy is important. 20ft grain trailer, takes 20tn of wheat.
