Without having different size on duals I think you will struggle to get 18.4 r 38s within 3m on both tractor and dual. They will need to be quite close coupled and narrow track width. Our 16.9 r 38s barely fit in 3m
use a front press?Thats what I was thinking. Currently on 650's and they are sinking in to much. I know its a wet year but we've always thought it even in more normal weather years. We could go to an 800 and stay within the 3m just but wondering if duals would be better. Perhaps not.

if your sinking that much then its too wet or too fluffy

Have you got Tyre pressures as low as possible? You need to know your Tyre size and axle loadings. If you reduce your road speed you can go lower on most charts. So whats the best tyre size for a dual wheel set up when running a 3m wide drill? The tractor is a 200hp size machine. Obviously we don't want wheeling sticking outside the drills working width but at the same time we want as much tyre on the ground.
