have a look at the scab thread,that will confuse you,seriously though you need to know if you actually have scab,so involve the vet, if you have then it needs to be dealt with properly ie dipping,don't just jab them on the offchance it's a waste of time and moneyJust had word that my neighbor has come down with scab so obviously action is needed I had planned to heptavac my ewes next week and have heard conflicting reports about whether or not to use dectomax at the same time has anyone had any experience of this?

It is now becoming the most cost effective and easiest way to treat parasites in flocks.Get a contractor in and dip them.

i said this the other week,most new customers with scab have tried a jab of some sort at least twice before phoningThose culls you dipped for me in Gloucestershire 2 years ago had been dectomaxed 3 times.
I won't bother with injectables again.
