Are you sure you haven't strayed onto a golf course in that first photo silverfox? ?Managed to get onto the barley this afternoon . Sank in a few places , but mostly travelled ok. A few big lakes to avoid that aren’t normally there .View attachment 861662View attachment 861663
It’s pretty rolling around here. All glacial deposits , so every soil type you can think of. That field is called the gravel hole field and is as it’s name suggests. There’s always two ponds in that field, but the one has expanded more than I’ve ever seen in my 58 yrs. Water has been running off other land into it.That landscape is certainly what might be called "rolling", or are some of those stone pits?
Is that pond always a wet hole, looks like rushes poking out the water.
Ahem. I hope you admired @Flintstone 's Claydon drilling

Basically, if you’re in Norfolk, Aberdeenshire, or coastal North East, you’re all pussies and should be drilled up!
The rest of us eat raw pork and have sex with tigers. That’s how tough we are.

336mm, no way near as much as some but it has been very frustrating of constant topping up on clay! I am pleased how it looks though considering.Looks brilliant, without wanting to get into a whos had more rain discussion any idea how much its had on it since drilling?
