Im not bragging and its not a competition but we had 600 mm rain in feb...been one of worst winters i known, just relentless wind and rain day after day, wears you down, started lambing now so sheds full up to bursting!:banghead:

Aye you're right. We'll all complain about the tole it's taking on the land and livestock but very few will admit that it depresses you....I'm one of them!

@Northeastfarmer just had a load of straw this morning the driver got out the wagon and realised he should have fetched 2 coats instead of 1’ couldn’t live up here’ he said
It will sharp dry up in the second half of March especially where you are 2 months later it might here
It dries up...then one night of wet and it’s clarts again

Wetttest winter I can remember in my lifetime in this neck of the woods and we are usually a dry area .Was drying up last weekend but several days of sleet this week have brougt all the mud back again. Wind direction being mostly westerly and not south westerly has been the problem as just 20 miles to the east around Elgin it begins to dry up and Aberdeen has had its sunniest February on record.( Rain shadow of the Cairngorms) Northerly gale tonight and sleeting again off the Firth
