Plenty drive around in 4X4s plenty have a few acres and a sheep.
How would you prove if stopped you are a bonafide farmer?
I carry a print out from BCMS for all cattle on both holdings

In my car I carry a letter from my employer saying I am an essential worker and the steps we are adhering to in terms of biosecurity
BCMS and our RPA record are a start.....

When will it get to the stage you will have to prove that you are a farmer and have a need to be out.

Should Slipper farmers who rent their land out and have a few sheep be allowed out?

Arable farmers who have contractor farming agreements?

contract farming no different to farming your own land, I treat every acre we farm for others exactly as if it were my own, I need to walk the ground and we need to make applications and complete operations same as usual
