Airbnb are offering full refunds including their admin fee. April went from full to empty in the space of a few hours on Thursday afternoon.
The one glimmer of hope, if I’ve read it correctly, is that businesses claiming small business rate relief will be eligible for a £10,000 grant through the local authority next month.

Air BnB have been getting bad press. They are cancelling their commission on bookings for the provider. Refunding a percentage to the customer and keeping the rest as a credit on Air BnB account which will help build up the companies cash reserves in the downturn period.

I'm weeping for them.
At least some to their customers can now appreciate the principle of paying tax on accommodation income.

So frustrating, just spoke to Mother in Law and the holiday let's opposite her have just had new arrivals. MiL closed her two cottages and so have others in the village but this one particular owner (who doesn't live in the village) has decided against cancelling bookings.

There won't be a huge amount of that as most places closed anywya

Caravan Club have just advised all their sites are shutting now - probably as a result of the influx of foreigners in their caravans/motorhomes migrating over the past few days.

All 5 van sites must now do likewise.

I wouldn't be surprised if the govt forced all private campsites to do likewise too.

Looks like the caravanners will all be forced to go back home now.
Except the other caravaners, they just pull up on the grass verge then leave a right mess behind when they leave!!!

F*** O** English C****
I got that message 30 years ago! Looked at a nice place near Lampeter but my tent was shot through by .22 whilst I was exploring the area. I was staying in a friends field and if I'd been standing I'd have been in trouble. So back to you matey!

As an aside to this. Both sets of friends who moved to the area have fluent welsh speaking children so that is four ba*tard English children who are now integrated. They now have children of their own.......If it wasn't for the 'awful incomers' the Welsh language would be struggling.....I was best man to a fantastic man from Llanfairfechan who'd moved to my area, took an Englishmans job and worked incredibly hard for me. So, at the end of the day we're all just folk. 'Tis a two way street (y)
