went through a fair few bearings and had gearbox trouble... we bought it 2nd hand though so don’t know how it was treated before us, looked spotless tho.. would you be buying new or 2nd hand? They are just over complicated really..

Not sure what to do yet, quite fancy a Marshall to be honest , I had a hi spec on demo when they first came out as part of a deal when buying a tanker, it went well iirc but was a good few years ago now they don’t seem to have taken off .

Do you mean the xcel, if so we had one, then quickly changed to a ktwo.

Brilliant machine, when it was going. Most of the parts that failed on ours were replaced with modified parts so a new one might be better.

I like the look of Marshall’s to no chains slats and less grease points

We’ve a agrispread that also been faultless only ever needed links cut out the chains and grease but don’t no if you can still get them

Ya agrispread here too and has been great, they are still making them alright 2 new ones bought local here in the last few weeks

Used a slew of them; though still think Bunning is the one to beat personally.

We priced bunning and Richard western. Not much in it price wise but went with the RW. The spread is superb! Seems very well engineered too

I trialed a Marshall once, didn’t do many loads with it as the valve block kept failing (repaired twice whist I was using it over 2 days use) so the pusher wouldn’t come back all the way. Also not a very big machine. Overall not very impressed TBH.
