Will china be held accountable?

Sorry if it has been covered and I've missed it, I was reading the Boris thread and rather than derail it i though I'd start afresh, do you think there will be any action taken to make China pay somehow once the dust settles? It seems ridiculous that we are buying ppe off them!

Not a hope in hell.

China is going to supercede America as the world leader and I think if the democrats had put up someone better than an old fossil, Trump could well have lost the forthcoming election

Well I expect they are waiting to see if America pays for the H1N1 swine flu pandemic that started in the USA and killed in the region of 500,000 people worldwide.

If you haven't realised the whole idea, by the western media, is to weaponize a disease to demonise China because the good old USA is sh1t scared of losing it's world dominance. Meanwhile perhaps acquaint yourself with the number of wars started by China compared to the USA. Perhaps the USA is going to pay reparations for those as well.

If you didn't look it up America has been at war for something like 227 out of 244 years since 1776. Plenty of compensation due there.

Very interesting and no its not something that had occured to me, but swine flu didn't sit the world and the economy on its arse like this has, even war hasn't disrupted the economy like this it seems

i'm glad usa chipped in helping us in a couple of wars......they've been the worlds 'policeman' and i bet ,given the choice, they'd rather been not....... a lot of young americans have died defending democratic values

personally i thank the usa and i think china is the worst regime on the planet

For a bit of power balance the eu could do with a big player joining, like japan or some such

Name any world leader thats had the balls to try that to any other country in last 30years ???
Even the Russians aint that daft they know if they really try anything silly with us or most other countries our friends in the USA are just a call or tweet/txt away.
I often think because there is so much firepower that could be unleashed by several it actually makes the world a better place.
We all know if one presses that unthinkable button, so will the other. were all dust then

Why would the Russians try anything silly with you or the USA? I certainly would not want to take them on if they did.
I am certainly grateful for the help that the USA gave in WW2, just as I am also grateful for the help the Russians gave, without either of them it could have been a different outcome.
