Few more details might help, what tractor, what sort of budget did you have in mind, what sort of accuracy do you want? £15k quote sounds like an RTK level system, I don't have much experience of potato farming but not sure you definitely need RTK for that, others may suggest otherwise.

Another vote for green star.
Simple to use plenty backup if needed and plenty used systems around .

What level of accuracy are you looking to get to ?

Not sure if this offer is still running but not a bad place to get started, would be able to swap because machines. Could also upgrade it to an inter grated system.

I think jd have also just released a new inter grated system that’s easier to install.

I have a John Deere 2630 with Autotrac activation for sale. I'd part with it for £3750.00

@harvey121 as above, because of the RPA grants available last year that have to be sorted by July, (I’m not sure if that’s why your looking to buy) some dealers are offering deals on various makes. I went for the Trimble and got the Rangepoint subscription thrown in for a year. (I probably paid for it, but I was “lost in the price”!!). I know someone who has gone for a JD system and our local dealer did a good deal on it for him.

I’ve fitted one of the Trimble systems that chae linked with another to be installed as soon as I get time. First setup has been running a few months now and so far so good.
Nice easy system to use which can be upgraded in the future. Range point signal is free to all new units for 12 months. Seems quite accurate

Looking at spec is 1.61kph as slow as you can travel?
If you go for the EZ-pilot with a GFX750 or XCN1050 which is then known as EZ-pilot pro you can go slower for up to 15 seconds. If you upgrade it to AutoPilot motor drive which uses the same hardware just with an additional unlock you can go slow for as long as you like.

How much more are these upgrades?
