Drove to another home.
Did it while actually ill.
Expected his parents to look after their child who could have infected them.

Just shows the arrogant bubble our leaders live in. He has been driving policy so what does it say about Boris who hired him?

Fine balancing act for Johnson. Hancock has been lined up as the fall guy for this shambles. I wager he’ll hang on to Cummings in case one head on a spike isn’t enough. Of course he should have fired him already, the bloke is a liability.

Can someone point me to what law Cummings has broken,it clearly states in the guidelines that getting child care if the parents are sick is allowed as one of the exemptions !

Getting help with childcare whilst ill, and driving long distances with children while displaying symptoms are different things.

The couple did not stay at home on displaying symptoms. The grandparents could have driven down to help with care for the children whilst the parents isolated themselves completely - locked themselves away so as to shield the grandparents - until recovered.

Also, the couple have been "economical with the truth" as to their whereabouts whilst showing symptoms. They were plainly not at home.

Headlines on the BBC but as Cummings is gunning for them, they need to be careful how they report this matter as if he survives, the beeb will come under renewed fire.

Will Johnson bullet him? No, because without Cummings he is nothing but a bag of wind.

Interesting that the deputy medical officer said that it was ok to travel to arrange child care 10 days after they heard that Cummings was in Durham.

Dont even contemplate getting rid of Cummings. The bitter remain camp and labour are after blood because he was behind the referendum and Tory election win and that's one good reason to keep him on. They've been waiting to pounce on him. He's the only man in there with any ideas how to drain the swamp and turn this country around.
He may look a touch odd to some but given the chance he will get rid of all the dead wood and and establishment who have been a hindrance for years.

If anyone drives from London to Durham (And back again) with a child I’m suggesting they would need to stop at a service station for petrol and a snack and a wee at least once

they at least need to explain how they managed this bit.

As I understand it they drove to Durham and stopped in an empty cottage on the farm so never came into contact with his parents but were near enough if the worst case happened for his parents to look after a 4 year old
