Combinables Price Tracker

futures profit taking is the likely reason of the fall no change in fundamentles unless you believe the weather forecast rain in 2 weeks time

the free import of maize cannot happen till 2021
if futures stay low enough buyers will not start importing till later in the year
the high stocks will be dissuading buyers from committing
hold grain till harvest
the only reason to sell is if rain increase yield

Not a bad price for harvest I would have thought, friend told me he sold 3 loads @ £150/t harvest, I told him he was stupid! I wouldnt be in a rush to sell anything, think it maybe a year to see what you get in the shed, quality and quantity before selling, cant believe prices will be dropping between now and then any great amount.
Nothing forward sold here, rightly or wrongly
I sold 2 at £150 when current price was in the £130s the plan was to carry some 2019 over but since sold the balance as caught a Spike.

What are folk being bid for feed wheat harvest movement? I was offered £164 ex Farm for 90t this morning. That’s a long way from the prices discussed here but will the feed guys pay more with maize and barley available?

sounds about right for harvest movement, bigger prices are further forward.

To sell milling wheat and feed wheat now hold on for 10 months?????
I sold most of the remainder of my milling wheat the other week for movement now £180t. Want to be able to clean the shed properly and need the money, not sold all the osr mind and thats staying where it is.
If you keep for 10 months it needs to be £195t for it to be worth while?

All the major OSR crushers are next to deep water ports so if they import another few loads of crappy stuff like they did last year they will need our good gear to dilute it with.
