We’ve just scraped 3mm in the last 36 hours.

I really don't know why they post 2 week forecasts. They struggle to get the next 5 days with any accuracy. And as for those sites that say we are going to get 4 mm of rain between 2 and 6 pm in 14 days time.....?

Had another 6mm today in a 20min downpour. Up to 11mm total since beginning of the week.

Was in Banbury laying some blocks in daughters garden just 3 miles away. It rained, hailed, thundered, just as I had pointed the bottom course and washed the ruddy lot out. Flood at the bottom of the street too.
You cant get rain when you need it.
Just a narrow swathe of us left with shite crops now then; and with bumper yields in Eastern counties, chicken corn will be worthless too

Had about an inch here since the 1st. Most falling in last couple of days. More rain than March, April and May combined. Definately not complaining.
