Ratchet straps

I'm after some new straps, they will be for big square bales inc haylage, I can't remember the breaking strain of the old ones, what is the norm for what I want?
Also anywhere to look for a set online?
Thanks, Paul

I’ve had a 5ton set from agri link and I’m a bit disappoint with the quality of the ratchets. I find they are a bit flimsy when your just tightening up the last couple of clicks

I got these, https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07DQPN27Z/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
(In lock down)
they are good, Reverse action On the Handel’s Which Didn’t bother me. Smooth unlocking which is key for me, the cheap ones you can get soon bend and are a difficult to unlock. Especially if you not using them straight From the hooking point.

I was after these as you can tell they are well made, but they are not in stock in the length I need.

Long Handel for easy tightening as are the ones from Amazon I got.
You can just get new ratchets if the straps Your using are ok.

There is a new type of ratchet strap, well new to me anyway, that loads the strap from the side inside of poking it through the ratchet. I have not got any yet but would like to try some. They are on the website of Jackson Handling from whom I have had stuff in the past.

These ones?
Got to be easier than trying to thread frayed ends through ratchets, esp. with cold wet hands.

Yes, that's the ones, anybody tried them? you would have to think that unless the central piece that holds the strap had been beefed up considerably it could not be as strong as the normal type but it looks like it would save a lot of time and hassle. I might get a few to try.
