I am not expecting to see photo of 614 tractor still in use
Interesting photosThis is an International 574 that we had running at the weekend. It hadn't run for quite a few years but a new fresh battery and off it went.
I plan to use it when I start making some hay as a part time thing. We also pulled out a 35X which will run a haybob for tedding and raking. This will be the mowing, baling and stacking tractor. As an aside, what would be a good conventional baler to match with this tractor? I'll only be doing a couple of thousand or so for the local horse market. I don't necessarily mean match the brand or vintage as such, just a good match for power and in general just a reliable good baler.
The tractor looks to be in good order apart from some paintwork. I'd like to repaint the wheels at some point, does anyone know the name of the white colour? Any other tips to look for on the tractor?
BTW it does have cab doors, I just lifted them off as I was constantly in and out getting it started and then cleaning the cab and windows. There were a LOT of cobwebs inside!

I see tractor has TA , does it work?
Not a good idea to have fully loaded bucket with loader in extended position
An IH baler would do the job ok and spares are available
TA or torque amplifier was optional and is lever on left of steering wheelBy TA you mean the handle on dashboard? Yes it changes "gear" when moved, so I guess that's it? It makes a bit of a whining sound which changes depending on whether you're in high or low, would that be it?
The loader was how we found it, I'm not sure what the last job it was used for, it would have been many years ago but I think it had to be extended to load grain and beet lorries. But I won't be doing any of that so will probably set about retracting it to make it less bouncy and more maneuverable, I'll probably also have the loader off at some point anyway to give everything a good clean
The rake is an insult!
That heavy dirt must really pull it downAs seen in other threads, our 844 punching well above its weight View attachment 881462
