Michelin or Trelleborg?

Completely bald fronts after 3000 hrs and backs about 10%. Friend had some on a New Holland and had the same problem. You might get a good deal on replacements. I've been through this with Firestone. They said they'd be out with weigh platform etc to set pressures on replacement tyres to prove they would/could last much longer. Never seen them.

I'd never buy Firestones again. They wear out far too quickly.

Have driven tractors with both on 650/540 sizes. I've never felt too safe on Michelins on banks, whether they've been pumped up too hard but they've always felt very 'floaty' compared to a set of even well worn Trelleborgs, feel they keep their shape better whereas the Michelins seem to start to round.

The Trelleborgs seem to just grip and grip as well. Maybe I've answered my own question but heard about splitting sidewalls on Trelleborgs and that Michelins service is better....
