My brother and a couple of his mates have this competition running at the moment. Follow them on facebook or check out their website. Well worth a visit!

Def not a scam, I know it’s cost them a fair bit to get set up. They have given some smaller items away already. The tractor is their first big prize they are giving away. Lots of other firms doing this already with cars in a big way. They just thought they would give it a go with tractors.

It’s not a ‘giveaway’ at all though. You pay £19.99 for a 0.0007 chance of winning a tractor they say is worth about £26,000.

It has to be called something. Yes it’s a draw just like the lottery but far far better odds of winning.

Its not really a giv away though is it? Its gonna get them a good price for thier tractor which lets face it a 20 series autopower isnt gonna be that easy to sell. But for the winner its a cheap tractor

YOUNG PADDY bought a donkey from a farmer for €100. The next day, however, the farmer announced, “I have some bad news. The donkey’s died.” Paddy obviously demanded his money back. The farmer couldn’t do that as he’d already spent it. “Okay, then,” says Paddy, “just bring me the dead donkey as I’m going to raffle him off.” But “You can’t raffle a dead donkey!” “Sure I can,” says Paddy. “I just won’t tell anybody he’s dead.” A month later, the farmer met up with Paddy, who stated proudly: “I raffled him off, selling 500 tickets at €2 each and made a profit of €898.” “Didn’t anyone complain?” retorted the farmer, to which Paddy replied, “Just the guy who won, so I gave him his €2 back!”

Does anyone ever win these things or is it just the winner was to young / not eligible or mother / brother / cousin won it
£19.99 per ticket x 1299 ticket = £25967 thought that tractor would be worth more than that unless it’s 1299 tickets sold and no one wins ???

how on earth do they get around the VAT? or do they charge it on every ticket so effectivly 'break' the tractor up into 1299 different invoices?
